Cambria and Jackson Elementary had a guest author, Mr. Daryl Cobb, visit on Monday, February 27th to kick-off Read Across America week. Mr. Cobb had an interactive program to teach students topics about writing, such as: discovering good ideas, the importance of words and creating conflict. The students were entertained by his high energy, storytelling and music! It was a great way to get students really motivated about reading and writing during this special week!
Our teachers also decorated their classrooms doors with a reading theme of their choice! They look fantastic!
